Abstract:
Freedom of association is considered a human right, manifested both in individual and group level, by enshrining the right of an employee to join or not to a union freely, to retreat when desired, and by recognizing the opportunity to join a trade union. The objective of this paper is to identify the shortcomings of national labor legislation in terms of protection and guarantee of freedom of association in relation with international norms in this field.
