Impact of Socio-economic and Technological Transformations at National, European and International Level (ISETT), 2015, vol. 5
Abstract:
The Article aims at synthetically exposing the complex and nuanced manner in which the collision between the employee's right to private life and the managerial prerogative of the employer is legally and jurisprudentially dealt with, under the aspect of monitoring the use of IT and CT equipment at the work place. As follows, the article also analyzes the effectiveness of the Romanian regulations under this aspect, together with their compatibility with the level of protection ensured for the employee at European level.
