Liability for acts of pollution that affect human health

Impact of Socio-economic and Technological Transformations at National, European and International Level (ISETT), 2015, vol. 6
Abstract:
The right to a healthy environment is of particular importance for conducting life under suitable conditions so that organizations, bodies and international, European and national institutions, should have a stronger role in environmental protection, instituting preventive measures and sanctions for acts with long-term or irreversible consequences that may seriously affect people's health or even life. Increased degradation of natural ecosystems, along with the interaction between trade and environmental issues bring environmental issues to the forefront of government concerns, but also of citizens.
