Impact of Socio-economic and Technological Transformations at National, European and International Level (ISETT), 2015, vol. 7
Abstract:
Safety and health are a priority in national social agenda together with the development of a culture of risk prevention, based on a safe and healthy working environment. The article deals with the importance of injury and occupational disease in terms of economic impact. Achieving measurable improvements in working conditions and a reduction of occupational accidents and diseases is an integral part of any successful management approach. In our opinion, such management approach is based on the intrinsic link between productivity, work quality and safety in the workplace.
