Abstract: This paper aims to present a brief analysis of the costs and benefits to manufacture a new ammunition family for individual grenade launchers. It presents an analysis of the costs involved for testing, for product evaluation process and after that to receive approval of batches. The paper presents also the most important verifications required to assess the safety and suitability for service for a new ammunition family
