Abstract:
The strategy of generating a digital terrain model with national coverage should be a priority of institutions able to manage such a project (at this scale) and also a priority for possible direct or indirect beneficiaries. Currently, the existing models do not qualify in terms of the degree of precision. But there are geospatial data collected by various institutions, even national coverage that could be used to extract a digital elevation model on terms more favorable to the costs of a new project (such as LIDAR sensor surface coverage of the country).
