Abstract:
The ever larger implementation of technologies specific to the Fourth Industrial Ievolution – among which we mention artificial intelligence, robots, quantum computers, new sources of energy, composite and 2D materials, etc.) – will substantially influence the majority of elements that determine the global balance of power and implicitly the world order. In this context and given that Romania has very few options in the area of tangible elements of power, our recommendation is to focus on the intangible elements, namely the existence of a strategic purpose and the determination to follow a national strategy.
