Abstract:
In the era of globalization, infectious diseases pose a significant threat to global health and societal stability. They strain healthcare systems, necessitating robust preventive strategies, particularly in creating resilient hospital environments. Our study identifies and analyzes hospital environmental safety risk factors during pandemics, emphasizing the need for context-specific risk mitigation. By integrating literature review with linguistic assessment of risk factors, we reveal complex hospital safety dimensions and underappreciated epidemiological risks. Using triangular fuzzy number theory and the DEMATEL method, we develop an evaluation model that quantifies hospital environment risks and their interdependencies, enhancing informed decision-making for epidemic prevention and resource allocation, contributing to healthcare infrastructure sustainability and societal well-being.
