Abstract: In practice, fresh produce platforms usually implement corporate social responsibility to improve the value of consumers. Thus, the authors of this paper conducted a platform supply chain for fresh produce (P-FSC) consisting of a supplier and a platform that provide the freshness-keeping effort. Considering that the platform uses two charging modes for the supplier to charge the fee of fresh produce preservation, the authors carried out a comparative analysis of the P-FSC under different charging modes. On this basis, the authors designed a coordination contract to achieve Pareto improvement in the P-FSC. The result shows that the platform's corporate social responsibility level improvement can promote the freshness-keeping effort, and then the P-FSC can raise the price to respond to the market when facing the freshness-sensitive consumers. The P-FSC implements the cost-sharing, unit subsidy, and transfer payment contract, which can increase the level of freshness-keeping effort and achieve Pareto improvement.
