Long-Term-Oriented Cultural Value: Fundamental for Sustainable Development of Digital Government

Abstract: Based on the long-term-oriented cultural value in Hofstede's cultural model, this study established a model of influencing factors of citizens' continuous use of digital government services. Through the multi-group analysis of the structural equation model, this paper finds that the concept of long-term development affects the continuous use of digital government services by Korean citizens. The government must pay attention to citizens' continuous use of digital government, establish citizens' long-term development concept, and provide citizens with fair and sustainable digital government services so as to realize the sustainable development of digital government. In addition, the Korean government should also pay attention to the aging construction of digital government and the education of teenagers' network information literacy so as to lay a good foundation for the sustainable development of digital government.
