A Novel Hybrid MCDM Approach Based on Fuzzy DEMATEL, ANP, and Fuzzy VIKOR for Selecting the Best Project Managers

Abstract: Selecting the best managers from several proposed alternatives is a key factor in project success. The act of selecting administer is a multi-indicatory issue which includes qualitative and quantitative criteria that might be in contradiction or even might be vague. Therefore, complexity and importance of the problem requires using of analytical procedures rather than intuitive decisions. In the current article, first, the managerial competency criteria has been identified based on the library studies and surveys of specialists in the community. A Fuzzy DEMATEL method has been used for the sake of prioritizing the evaluation criteria and also for the relationship between effective criteria on the choice of superior managers of the project, afterward Analytic Network Process was applied for determining the weight criteria. In the end, a fuzzy multi-criteria model was designed, and through using metology, fuzzy sets and fuzzy VIKOR techniques, management substitution candidates have been prioritized.
