The Construction of a “Four-Chain” Economic System Driven by Knowledge Management: A Case Study of Guangxi

Abstract: Building a regional innovation system is crucial to improving economic competitiveness, and Guangxi faces challenges in integrating the “four chains”. This study aims to analyze regional differences in the integration of the Four Chains in Guangxi, explore the key role of knowledge management, and propose strategies to promote regional economic innovation and sustainable development. This study collected industry data from Guangxi and used big data analysis to assess the current status of the four-chain integration. The study found that Guangxi lacks knowledge management-led industry integration, and regional development imbalance constrains the development of all parties. Therefore, knowledge management plays a central role in promoting four-chain integration. It is recommended to strengthen the construction of the education chain, promote the integration of industry and education, establish a cross-regional resource integration mechanism, attract high-end talents, enhance the innovation capacity, and build a regional collaborative development model centered on knowledge management.
