Abstract: Mining Industries are a significant contributor to the economic growth of countries. Mining industries provide basic raw materials to all the manufacturing industries, whether their poor environmental image. However, over the last three decades, the mining and mineral industries adopted environmental management practices toward environmental protection and responsiveness of societal pressure. To overcome challenges to implement green practices in Indian Coal Mining Industries, analyze Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threat (SWOT) existence in industries. Addition of this work fuzzy decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method is used to determine the relationship between SWOT factors which help develop better strategies to overcome environmental as well as economic issues.
