Abstract: VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) acronym was coined way back in 1987 by Warren Bennis and Burt Nanus; Coronavirus disease (COVID’19) is best described under this phenomena which forced the world to lockdown. Not much research study has been carried out addressing the degree of compliance to the Risk and Opportunity in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 through onsite management system audit. An onsite audit is performed in 183 organizations to determine the conformance against the ISO 9001:2015. The outcome of the audit is quantified by adopting a five point Likert scale and the research data was analyzed by using simple statistical tool called Jamovi. By identifying the context of the organization and addressing the needs and expectations of the identified interested parties an organization would better plan actions for the risks associated with their process and be able to utilize the opportunities arising from the adversities.
