Abstract:
This research explores the transformational consequence of information systems (IS), and the moderating impact of organizational communication culture in human resource management (HRM). This study used panel data from 2011 to 2015 in South Korea for this investigation. This study found that using IS for HRM is positively associated with the shift of HRM’s position from administrative workers to strategic partners. Also, the positive moderation effect of the open communication culture was demonstrated.
