Abstract: Bu çalışmanın amacı Marshall- Lerner koşulunun temel formunda ge- çerliliğini kabul ederek, yapılacak bir devalüasyonun başarılı olamayacağını ve ekonominin gelişmişlik durumu, üretimin yapısı, ithal girdilere olan ba- ğımlılık ve mal bileşimi gibi unsurların göz önüne alınarak yeniden değerlendirilmesi gerektiğinin önemini vurgulamaktad ır.
