Determinants of Patient Satisfaction with Health Services at Public and Private Hospital in Gujrat, Pakistan

Abstract: Purpose: Quality becomes a vital element that’s show the result of a service to hospitals. When Patients visit hospital they have desires for services. In this study Determinants of Patient Satisfaction with services Quality at Public and Private Hospital in Gujrat, Pakistan. We conduct a study that helps to understand the variables that effect quality. Significance of this study that we want conduct research in Gujrat city in Pakistan of Patient Satisfaction with quality of health services at Public and Private Hospitals. The data were collected using a structured questionnaire and conduct interviews. Methodology: The servqual instrument that used to check the quality process of services provided in public and private hospital in Gujrat. There are five elements that describe the servqual process of a hospitals in which environment, cost, economic condition, social and cultural status ,technical competency are taking to evaluate the effect on quality. Most relevant SPSS software 16.0 was used to interpret the data. Findings: The mean for this study is (3.75) and standard deviation (0.968) and (n=80) provide acceptable value. According to the model summery the r square (0.285) and adjusted r square (0.237). Recommendations: The study opens new directions for policy makers and practitioners.
