Abstract: WiMAX stands for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access. WiMAX technology enables abundant delivery of wireless broadband service for fixed and mobile users. WiMAX can be used for long distance wireless communication with higher data rates. It can be used as an alternative broadband.
