Abstract:
This article reports the development and implementation of a corporate simulation model for Canterbury Timber Products Ltd., a medium-sized New Zealand company producing a variety of medium density wood-board products for both domestic and export markets. Issues relevant to the development and implementation of the model are discussed, and benefits emanating from improved planning are identified.
