Abstract:
Seventeen graduates of the Air Canada OR group are now in management positions. As of 1 September 1980, there are four Vice Presidents, one General Manager, one District Manager, two Directors, and nine Managers scattered throughout various functional areas. This record is unmatched in the airline industry, and it deserves some examination. Since the author is one of the 17, his viewpoint may be somewhat myopic and biased, but he has long since learned that scientific objectivity is a myth, anyway.
