Abstract: The application of the VERT networking technique to the problem of allocation of maintenance funds to improve the response time of the defense ammunition production base is addressed in this paper. Cursory analysis of the application indicates that savings of several million dollars in the form of ammunition inventory avoidance have been obtained by the expenditure of $50,000.
