Abstract:
One of the many important tasks facing Bell System planners in setting up the fully separated Bell subsidiary involves determining efficient configurations for regional trouble-reporting operations. This paper describes a user-friendly, interactive (GPSS) simulation model developed to assist operational planners and discusses some of the current and anticipated applications of the model.
