Abstract:
The central thrust of Interfaces is to present outstanding examples of application of theory in management science. In the production and operations management area we will be interested in quality applications in the areas of production, inventory control, manufacturing systems, distribution, transportation, quality control, and job design. Also of interest are work measurement, project management, materials handling, facility layout, facility location, scheduling, maintenance, purchasing, and procurement.
