Abstract:
Over the years we have developed many analytical techniques that have enormous potential for improving the general practice of finance. These techniques are described extensively in the academic literature, but for many they remain an abstruse body of knowledge with little practical relevance. Other techniques that are more directly applicable are available only from obscure and scattered sources. I believe that Interfaces provides an excellent forum for defining and emphasizing those techniques that can be applied in investments and corporate finance and encouraging more extensive application in the broad area of finance.
