Abstract:
In 1979 decision analysis techniques were used to evaluate and select particulate emission control equipment for three units of Ohio Edison's W. H. Sammis coal-fired power plant. Based on this analysis, electrostatic precipitators were chosen over fabric filters. A review of the evaluation shows the value of decision analysis in making a sound decision.
