Abstract: Interfaces ' function is not to publish only good news. One of its vital functions is to provide a forum for the debate of important issues. Such debate may make some readers uncomfortable. That discomfort is a small price to pay for a proactive strategy leading to a healthy profession (and a lively professional journal).
