An Optimization-Simulation Model of a Rural Health Center in Nigeria

Abstract: In recent years, inadequate resources, especially human resources, have been blamed for the ineffectiveness and inefficiency of health institutions in Nigeria. Using data obtained from health centers in both optimization and simulation models, we determined that such factors as faulty operational policies are more crucial.
