Abstract: In the first of two applications, time series analysis is used to forecast Texas electricity sales, nonagricultural employment, and total tax revenues for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. In the second, a forecast of the growth in Texas personal income over the 1982--83 biennium is made for the Legislative Budget Board. This forecast became the constitutional limit on appropriations growth for the Texas Legislature in this biennium.
