Abstract:
Researchers from the US and China apply optimization methodology to the problem of scheduling a bulk-pickup-and-delivery fleet for a fleet operation in Shanghai. Preliminary observations on the problem and on the differences and similarities in the application of MS/OR in China and the US are offered.
