Abstract:
Spreadsheet modeling software has evolved to the point where it now provides generalists with the power to analyze their own decisions quickly and easily. These new “modelers” aspiring to extend their spreadsheet experience will find further possibilities in decision tree analysis, expert systems, optimization, risk analysis simulation, and statistical analysis and forecasting. As the spreadsheet evolves further, the management science specialist and the generalist user will come together to form a powerful team.
