Abstract:
We respond (in kind) to the criticisms in this issue by Randolph [Randolph, Paul H. 1989. Turn off the lights. Interfaces 19 (4, July--August) 89--91.] levied against our paper [Mosier, Charles T., George W. Sheldon, Glen E. Avery. 1988. Should we turn off the lights when leaving. Interfaces 18 (5, September--October) 62--71.], which presented an economic decision model of fluorescent light usage.
