Abstract:
The MS/OR community has a great need for creativity. Practitioners must be competent at finding problems, finding solutions, and gaining acceptance for those solutions. Those new to the profession can read Gene Woolsey's columns for illustrations of these skills. Not only will these skills help MS/OR analysts gain the recognition that most of them believe they deserve, they can also help them keep their jobs in these days of staff and budget slashing.
