Abstract:
I provide advice on sources of material for research publications and factors to consider in writing and publishing research articles and demonstrate how to combine grocery list considerations and academic publishing aspirations. Topics related to comestibles in various disciplines, such as economics, marketing, real estate, packaging, and applied operations management, can be synthesized with appropriate, inappropriate, and nonexistent statistical and operations research techniques. Readers may wish to develop similar lists of research opportunities from the mundane activities of their everyday lives.
