Abstract:
Few reports of implementation in OR/MS adopt an evolutionary perspective or extend over a sufficiently long span of time. Using a representative sample of accounts, including those in this special issue, we discuss the challenges of taking the longer view. Greater diversity in reporting practice in our field would capture the reality of implementing OR/MS with greater fidelity.
