Abstract: On March 23, 1971, at the TIMS XVIII International Meeting in Washington, an open Council meeting was held primarily for the benefit of TIMS chapter and college officers. Approximately forty people attended, including the presidents of AIIE and ORSA. Some highlights of this meeting are discussed.
