Abstract: Interview with William H. Wendel. William H. Wendel is President of The Carborundum Company, Niagara Falls, New York. He began his career with Carborundum in 1947 and attained his present position in 1962. He is a director of Marine Midland Banks, Inc., American Research and Development Corp., N. Y. Telephone Co., and Allegheny, Ludlum Industries, Inc. He received his education at the United States Naval Academy and the Harvard Business School. He is a trustee of the Committee for Economic Development, a member of the Executive Council of the Harvard Business School Association and numerous civic and charitable organizations.
