Abstract:
While some in the profession and/or discipline of OR/MS are developing methodologies, others are solving real world problems. Many of the real world problems being tackled are complex. Their solutions generally require a team of people. These teams are often multi-disciplinary, and at times, multi-institutional. They normally include seasoned operations researchers/management scientists, seasoned line managers, and in our case, graduate students.
