Note on a Survey on Evaluation of Operations Research Projects

Abstract: The main objective of this sampling survey on the 300 largest U. S. industrials listed in the 1973 Fortune Directory was to find an estimate of the required rate of return on the initial investment in an OR project. This note summarizes the results obtained.
