Abstract:
The Coastal Construction Company of Portsmouth, Virginia, operates a precast-prestressed concrete products plant. The plant was originally used to produce components for large bridges and tunnels. Coastal presently produces items such as bridge girders, pilings and other marine construction components. A new product, transmission poles for electrical utilities, was to be introduced and the location of two new production facilities was to be determined.
