Information Systems in Management Science---The Decision to Inquire
Andrew Vazsonyi
Interfaces, 1976, vol. 7, issue 1, 73-80
Abstract:
I have proposed an approach where the agents of an MIS are modeled by the players of a mathematical game, and where the value of information is computed by developing the optimum strategy within the game theoretical framework. In this column I present a few simple examples to clarify the nature of the proposed calculus of information.
