Abstract: En la actualidad, la rapidez y variabilidad en los movimientos de los activos ha obligado al desarrollo de un conjunto de técnicas que faciliten la toma de decisiones para los agentes económicos de modo tal que se disponga de herramientas inteligibles y económicamente accesibles. La construcción y selección de portafolios de inversión son, en última instancia, un problema económico, por tanto, este trabajo aplica un enfoque de dos pasos para resolver cualquier problema económico. El primer paso consiste en determinar el conjunto de oportunidades para el inversionista, es decir, las opciones de inversión de que dispone, para posteriormente aplicar un criterio de selección entre ellas. /At the present time, the speed and variability in the movements of the assets have forced to the development of a group of techniques that it facilitates the taking of decisions for the economic factors in a such way that it has intelligible and economically accessible tools. The construction and selection of portfolio investment are, ultimately, an economic problem, therefore, this work applies a focus of two steps to solve any economic problem. The first step, consists on determining the group of opportunities for the investor, that is to say the investment options that it prepares, it stops later on to apply a selection approach among them.
