Abstract:
Youth sector is the subject of a special attitude on the national level, as well as on European Union’s level. This can be confirmed by all strategic plans that promote young people’s participation, social involvement and development of economic opportunities. Generally, young people refer to those with age up to 30 years old. In the Republic of Moldova, the new law has changed the concept of youth: from 16-30 years old to 14-35 years old. This change makes it more difficult to understand how to meet the different priorities of young people, which vary depending on the age. This research paper aims to analyse the concept, legal and institutional framework of youth in the Republic of Moldova, as well as how the strategy for youth has integrated the young people’s priorities.
