Abstract: In today, approximately 30% of global service trade consists of tourism sector. International tourism is one of the most important income-generating sector of 83% of world countries. Besides it is caused by reviving other sector which is in a relation, increasing the share of GDP and acquired exchange rate, creating employment opportunities, increasing the importance given of tourism. After 1980s with the technological development and increasing travel opportunities tourism sector has become important in Turkey. Therefore international tourist demand is one of the crucial economic variables for Turkey. In this study, it is used macroeconomic variables which determinants of international tourism demand are income, tourism price, travel cost and exchange rate for 36% of foreign tourist who come to Turkey from Germany, Russia and England. By including quarterly of the 1999:1-2013:2 period of time series was examined the theoretical structure of the seasonal unit root test, HEGY, which was developed for quarterly series and was investigated whether or not have seasonal unit root. According to analysis results, tourist arrivals and income series were reached presence of seasonal unit root, but tourism price, travel cost and exchange rate series were concluded that seasonal unit root cannot be found.
