Analysis of the governance of Decentralized Financial Systems (DFS) in Senegal

Abstract:

Objective : The present study aims to show how the caracteristics of governance of SFD in Sénégal. \n

Method : From the analysed scale of governance of the IMF's CERISE in 2005,we have studied four SFD networks of governance in Senegal: The multiple cas of method is mobilised .That tool is called by the inventors the common socle of the governance of IMF that constitutes the minimum to construct a good governance. Five criteria of evaluation are proposed on each of the six ways of the scale.A strategic dichotomy has been adopted. \n

Results : The principle of the received results show a satisfying situation in the sector in general. But despite the benefits the fovorablegovernance, the SFD have still been facing some problems and crises in Senegal. This allow us to say that the good governance does not allow to know the crises but allow to face with and overcome them day after day. \n

Originality / relevance : The originality lies in the fact that the grid used is designed by microfinance experts. These dimensions fully cover the field of DFS governance.
