Abstract: In the modern era of digital finance, net banking systems are increasingly targeted by cybercriminals due to their growing user base and high-value transactions. Traditional authentication methods like PINs and passwords are no longer sufficient to safeguard against advanced threats such as shoulder-surfing, guessing attacks, and unauthorized access. This project introduces a novel multi-layer authentication framework designed to strengthen the security of net banking. The first layer incorporates keystroke dynamics, a behavioral biometric approach that verifies users based on their unique typing patterns before they enter their PIN. This is followed by an Illusion PIN-based authentication system that visually obfuscates input to resist observational attacks. To further enhance protection, the system employs real-time face biometric verification using the Grassmann algorithm, ensuring that only authorized users can access sensitive banking functions. In addition to user authentication, the project addresses transaction data security by integrating blockchain technology. Blockchain ensures tamper-proof and transparent storage of transaction records, preventing data manipulation and enhancing trust in online financial services. This layered approach provides a robust, cost-effective solution to combat fraud and protect user privacy in net banking systems.
