Abstract:
Cloud computing provides scalable and cost-effective data storage services, but it also introduces security challenges such as unauthorized access, insider attacks, and inefficient user revocation. To address these issues, this research proposes a secure and scalable Revocable Storage Identity-Based Encryption (RS-IBE) framework for cloud data sharing. The proposed framework integrates the Key Generation Center (KGC), Cloud Server, Data Owner, Data User, and Revocation Manager to ensure secure communication and controlled access to cloud-stored data. Sensitive files are encrypted before cloud upload, and only authorized users can decrypt the ciphertext after successful authentication and revocation verification. The framework supports dynamic user revocation, forward secrecy, and backward secrecy to prevent revoked users from accessing confidential information. Mathematical models and algorithms are developed for encryption, decryption, revocation management, and computational cost analysis. The proposed RS-IBE framework improves cloud security, reduces computational overhead, and provides efficient and secure cloud data sharing for large-scale cloud computing environments.
