Research of the Theoretical Model of Community Economy

Abstract: Community is the product of social and economic development, and it¡¯s the basic constitution of a city as well. In the wake of the division of labor between agriculture and handicraft industry, and the revolution of the industrial technology, a lot of labor moving to the cities. The community, which is connected with the division of labor and contract, plays the unique economic function of building city. As the unique economic organization of social and economic development, community plays a unique micro-economic role of how to develop urban functions and promote economic growth. This paper which takes community elements as the starting point of community economic structure, summarizes and outlines the definitions of community, and discusses the methods of researching community economic theory.
