Hot Topics and Trends in Information Education Research: Higher Vocational College Teachers' Informatization Instructional Competence in China

Abstract: With advances in technology in recent years, information education has received widespread attention. The purpose of this study is to explore the research hotspots and research trends in information education from 2000 to 2022. Using CiteSpace as our research tool, we conducted a visual analysis based on social sciences citation index (SSCI) and science citation index (SCI) journal literature based on web of science (WOS) database data and explored the limitations of information education research development and future development trends by conducting thematic keyword colinear analysis and cluster analysis, and analyze the challenges in the current development of information instructional competence among higher vocational college teachers in China.
