Yi Seong-Ho

Journal of Management and Strategy, 2012, vol. 3, issue 4, 24-33

Abstract: The technology is taken into consideration as a resource of the business, in addition to the four traditional resources: material resources, financial resources, human resources and informational resources. This makes important for the managers to have solid technological knowledge, in addition to the economics. The research regarding the technological management (or the management of technology - MOT) is essential for human being from past, present to future.. Technology transfer is recognized as a critical issue to strengthen industry competitiveness in today's global and knowledge-based economies. The vertical transfer of technology from R&D labs to industries is becoming more emphasized than the horizontal company-to-company transfer of commercialized technology. The network and cooperation among technology transfer intermediates are becoming more important with the increasing demand of the comprehensive technology transfer services.
