Sustainability analysis for Mitsubishi Logistics

Abstract:
This report analyses Mitsubishi Logistics’ sustainability performance in accordance with the Global Reporting Standards (GRI). The study gives an overview of their sustainability strategy and its implementation across various sustainability dimensions such as Environment and Social. Although they do lack in regard to reporting their performance across various indicators in the GRI standards, Mitsubishi Logistics has achieved tremendous progress in reducing their carbon emissions through the implementation of different energy- efficient measures and use of renewable energy sources in terms of environmental sustainability. In terms of social sustainability, they have shown commitment to encouraging diversity and inclusion in the workplace, as well as ensuring the health and safety of its employees. Overall, according to the report, Mitsubishi Logistics has achieved significant progress in improving its sustainability performance across multiple aspects. However, there is still ton of room for development, particularly in categories such as water, biodiversity conservation, product responsibility and other areas.
